Megapack Factory is largest utiliy-scale battery factory in North America where Tesla produces Megapack 2 xl. Megapack factory helps Tesla scale Megapack production and add clean energy storage to the grid quickly all while reducing reliance on fossil fuels. Megapack 2 XL is largest battery Tesla produces. Megapack 2 XL has all integrated systems for high efficiency enabling simple integration and improved scalability and uses the same core thermal components as Tesla vehicles.
How Tesla is enhancing green energy usage
Tesla ensures Megapack can operate in some of the harshest conditions. Megafactory can produce 1 Megapack every 68 minutes. Production of 10000 Megapack units per year will add up to 40 GWh of storage capacity adding upto 40 GWh of storage capacity equal to fifty 200 MW fossil fuel plants. Megapacks are currently manufactured in Megapack Factory at Giga Nevada. Tesla shared a video on twitter describing its Megapack factory and how it helps with green energy usage with production of Megapack 2 XL in its Megafactory

The Tesla Megapack is a sizable rechargeable lithium-ion stationary energy storage product made by Tesla Energy, a clean energy division of Tesla, Inc., and designed for use in battery storage power plants. Each Megapack, which was introduced in 2019, has a maximum storage capacity of 3.9 megawatt-hours (MWh). Each Megapack is a little smaller container than the ISO intermodal container in size. Developed for utility company deployment. Tesla Energy also provides more compact battery energy storage systems, such the Powerwall for residential use and the Powerpack for commercial applications or smaller power utility projects.
